Agilent Drive Testing Solution with New capabilities.

Agilent Technologies recently introduced a new test option for its Drive Test Solution. This new option allows the engineer to measure the quality of voice conversation over packet switched network using R- factor MOS which is defined by ITU-T Recommendation G.107.

In combination with other E6474A capabilities, the user will view the geo- location of bad voice quality areas with the analysis of the physical layer parameters.

Solution Features Summary:

• Generating real-time transport protocol streams to initiate VoIP traffic
• Measurements are taken from real-time transport protocol and are independent of device performance.
• Test parameters are configurable using the E6474A properties page
• Provides co-relating of VoIP ad physical layer measurements
• Provides Network Round-trip Delay information

• Provide Packet Loss, Jitter Delay information based on incoming RTP traffic flows.
